   College Application Week

• During this week each senior will schedule a time where we will help them with applying  for college. It is important to start searching for colleges you are interested in now, if you haven’t already started.  Each college has a different deadline and students that have taken college courses will need to request college transcripts prior to this week.

  Scholarship Application Week

• During this week, each day will be dedicated to helping students with a different scholarship application.  We will focus on the Myrtle Point Local, OSAC, and SOCC applications.  Time will also be allotted to help with other applications during this time.  We encourage students to look for scholarships throughout the year, as deadlines will start now and go through graduation.  Look for scholarships on the college websites that you are applying to, CIS, Fast web, the scholarship crate in the counseling office.

  Decision Day

  Decision Day will be held on May 1st.  On this day we will assist students with the process of committing to the colleges they will be attending and notifying the colleges that they will not be attending.  We will do activities to let underclassman know where the students plan to go next year.
